first GUINNESS WORLD RECORDTM
attempt for a SINGathon on the Bollywood super-hit track Kuch Kuch Hota Hai at The Celebration Sports Club in Andheri West, Mumbai.
The event, which was adjudicated by Gareth J. Deaves, Head – Music adjudications, GUINNESS WORLD RECORDSTM and conceptualized and directed by Krish – TAK_DHINA_DHIN – the musiKman, was an instant hit with all the singers who had gathered from far and wide to participate in this exclusive event. And when Gareth made the final announcement amid a huge applause, there were wild scenes of excitement and jubilation among the more than 200 attendees. |

Adding more colour to the event was the fact that a majority of the participants were the same singers who had also sung for Krish's – LET'S HAVE SOME FUN – a world record song featuring 333 singers in a single song! Looking more relieved than excited, Krish said, “I'm really glad I was able to pull it off! It's yet another instance of ig2E showing to the music world that we really mean business when it comes to innovation. And, this is only the beginning!”
With an eye on the future, and buoyed by the enthusiastic approval for the
concept from leading artists, celebrities, corporates and the music
industry in general, he reveals that his immediate plan is to break his
own GUINNESS WORLD RECORD TM attempt in the near future.
However, compared
to the minimalist, low-budget approach adopted in the first attempt,
mainly due to the newness of the concept, which also made sponsors wary of
investing, the next attempt is all set to be a grandiose affair. Krish
notes, “I am indebted to both Kumar Sanu and Bali Brahmbhatt for this next
SINGathon attempt. It was their suggestion. And I’m taking it forward in
the best possible way.” He adds, “Furthermore, there is something more to
look forward to in the next GUINNESS WORLD RECORD TM attempt as I plan to
bring yet another innovation, which will coincide with this event…and will
be announced soon.”

Mumbai, 2nd August 2009: Music production firm, ig2E
ENTERTAINMENT set a world record for being the first company
to produce a song in which EVERY WORD IS SUNG BY A DIFFERENT
SINGER! Hard to believe, this
feat, (which has never been tried before) started off with
Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik and Udit Narayan singing the first
three words of the song and is now the focus of attention
of the entire music world! Others music stars include music
maestro Ravindra Jain, Anup Jalota, Hema Sardesai, Sadhna
Sargam, Mohammed Aziz, Shabbir Kumar, Shaan, Javed Ali,
